Freestyle classes

New Freestyle Gymnastics Classes at Pinewood

Freestyle Gymnastics is a modern form of gymnastics that has become the latest craze amongst teenagers and young adults. Freestyle has enabled participants to adapt various traditional gymnastic elements and use them in a variety of different ways. Freestyle allows participants to express gymnastics in a very free and individual manner and includes activities such as Parkour and Free Running. These disciplines were made famous by films such as James Bond’s Casino Royale. Many teenagers can be seen tricking in the park, jumping off and over walls and somersaulting over park benches. Since British Gymnastics has recognised Freestyle as a discipline it has allowed registered clubs such as Pinewood to teach Freestyle in a safe, controlled and fun environment.

The Freestyle sessions we run are as follows:

Wednesday:	11 – 16 Years	7.30pm – 8.30pm	£3.00
Wednesday:	16 – 18 Years	8pm – 9.30pm	£4,50
Thursday:	Over 18 Years	8pm – 10pm	£6.00

Please note that all of the above sessions are pay-as-you-go so you do not need to book on to any class. Simply turn up on the day, register and pay at reception then join in the class. After your first session, if you wish to continue you will be required to pay for British Gymnastics insurance, which is currently £15 per year.
