About Us - Our Patron

Pinewood Gymnastics Club is very proud and honoured to have Svetlana Khorkina as our Patron.

Svetlana is the most successful female Russian gymnast of all time gaining nine gold, eight silver and three bronze World Championship medals. Her Olympic medals were gained in Atlanta, Sydney and Athens and consist of two gold, four silver and one bronze.

Svetlana Khorkina is arguably the greatest female gymnast of all time and has an unprecedented eight skills to her name in the Code of Points, including at least one on each apparatus. This is more than any other male or female gymnast in the world.
